The Basic Backup Power Packages contain battery racks and batteries which are automatically charged by grid power when it is available. If the grid goes down, you draw power out of the batteries to run your essential appliances.
By adding solar panels to your Basic Backup Power Package, you will have the option of keeping your battery back charged while the grid is down. See Solar Options below.
Solar Add-On Packages
Solar Option 1

Adds 500+ watt/hours of charging power to your Backup Power System. Includes a charge controller & combiner box appropriate for up to eight 125 watt panels.
Solar Option 2

Solar Option 2 Add a second group of 4 panels to increase your total solar array up to 1000 watts/hour.
NOTE:
Adding solar panels to your Back-up Power System qualifies you for a $2,000 Federal tax credit, as well as solar rebates in many states.
